People with Purpose

Hours Monday- Friday 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM

People with Purpose is a social Dayhab program designed for individuals ages 18 and up. This program provides opportunities for participants to stay engaged in the Quad Cities community, build meaningful connections, and contribute through volunteer work at various local charities and organizations.

A Meaningful Next Step

For young adults with disabilities, People with Purpose offers a structured, engaging way to stay active after high school. With opportunities available five days a week, participants can develop skills, build friendships, explore new interests, and make a positive impact in their community.

Volunteering & Skill Building

Participants gain valuable life and work skills by volunteering at organizations such as GiGi’s Playhouse, the Quad City Botanical Center, Humble Dwellings, Family Resources, New Kingdom Trailriders, and more. These experiences foster confidence, responsibility, and personal growth.

Community Engagement

Exploring the Quad Cities is a key part of the program! Participants enjoy activities like visiting the Bettendorf Public Library, ordering coffee at the local coffee shop, or shopping together at the mall—building independence while staying socially connected.

Social Growth & Friendships

People with Purpose encourages social interaction and relationship-building through shared experiences. The program is designed to strengthen confidence, enhance communication skills, and, most importantly, provide a space where participants can have fun and make lasting friendships.

Programs are held at our new People with Purpose Clubhouse 1985 Spruce Hills Drive, Bettendorf, IA 52722
